Current Book Offer: Views from the English Community
Description:
Published 2005, 240pages, hardback
The English, like other nations/ethnic groups, share a sense of community and belonging that comes from a shared history, culture, ancestry, and language.
This collection of 44 essays, stories and poems is a powerful assertion of English communal roots and identity.
Why the charity promotes this book:
One of the greatest disadvantages that the English suffer from is an increasing sense of isolation caused by a break up of community cohesion. Many English people who would feel great comfort and a sense of belonging by an association with their cultural or ethnic roots are encouraged to reject them. This book combats such negative attacks in an informative and well laid out manner.
