To mark the start of the Steadfast Trust Fundraiser Week, Trustees Mark and Lynn organised a St George Day celebration at the popular pub The Crown, on East Street, Turners Hill, West Sussex where on the Friday night they held a stall promoting Englishness and selling items for the charity. These items included flags, pin badges, hats and long-stem roses.

This was followed by a popular quiz where The Crown landlord Phil in his St George outfit hosted the night and awarded the winning team with Steadfast Trust engraved tumblers.

All in all it was a fun and friendly day with £50 being raised towards the £500 Steadfast Trust Fundraiser Week total.
